“Budget” is Not a Four Letter Word!
Posted on April 7th, 2009 - No Comments When it comes to planning a dynamite catering menu for a great wedding or event in the Tampa Bay area, one of the key components is working within a budget. The problem is that because of the negative connotation of the word, many don’t want to be on a “budget.” But in reality, EVERYTHING runs on a budget. Corporations work within a budget, the government has a budget and whether they have millions of dollars in the bank or just a few, brides and grooms have a budget. So fear not; the word “budget” does not necessarily mean “cheap.” When you are planning an event, the best way to get the most bang for your buck is to be upfront with your vendors about your budget. From the very beginning, it helps each of them build a framework for the services that they will be able to offer you as well as lets them formulate a way to offer the best services while still working within your budget. Does it really do any good to find out all of the great things that your decorator can do, only to find out later that you can’t afford any of it? How does it feel to hear about a dinner of lobster and filet mignon, only to discover that the price tag is entirely out of sight? As an innovative and unique caterer in Tampa, we’re here to provide superior culinary experiences to you and your guests for weddings, events and parties. Obviously we can’t make wine out of water and can’t offer lobster for the price of chicken, but you can bet each of our clients has a budget. And we do everything in our power to work with them from the beginning to put together an impressive menu that will leave their guests with a great impression. We’d be happy to do the same for you. Coming Next: ways to stretch your catering dollar and still impress your guests with great food. |
